The Optima WIRS is an electronic ON-LINE hotel reservations office on the web.

The Optima Web Interactive Reservations System introduces direct Internet access to the hotel’s Information System and database, with no need for external interfaces, for optimal usage of real time data obtained directly from the core of the information system.

The system includes:
- Direct individual bookings
- Company individual bookings based on Company’s agreement
- Amendments and cancellations
- Dynamic prices and special offers information

The system is created as a new face to Optima PMS aimed at customers on the Internet. It allows the customer, whether an individual or a company, limited access to hotel information with the possibility of creating, modifying or canceling reservations. Availability and prices are taken directly from the real hotel database, using a pre-defined factor, so that it is always accurate. Prices are dynamic and are taken from the flexible price codes defined in Optima. Any change in occupancy or price policy will influence the Internet users immediately, the same way they affect the reservation clerks in the hotel.

After a short, simple and clear reservation process, the surfer receives an on-line confirmation based on the reservation in the hotel database.

The Internet concept is similar to the concept of the banks’ Internet interface and after identifying himself to the system the surfer can handle his own reservation easily following the hotel policy as well and amendments or cancellations.

In addition, dynamic commercial banners can be added to the hotel Internet site reflecting special deals for the lowest occupancy period in the near future. The banners are updated automatically and reflect the up-to-the-minute situation of the hotel. These banners link directly to new reservations using the special offer information stated on the banners.

Optima Web Booking System allows guests, travel agents and companies from around the world to make reservations over the Internet, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, using their own special or general rates and terms, directly into the Optima PMS system. The hotel is exempt from paying any reservation commissions for such bookings.

The system is designed to work in conjunction with your existing website. Reservations are stored immediately in the same database as all the reservations, with one database for true "last room" availability. Any number of potential guests can check availability simultaneously, at any time of day or night. Your virtual reservations office is always open and there is always an answer.

WIRS Version 1.0 has been running at the Premier International Hotels and Resorts since August 2003, on Fallal Hotel and Rimonim Group.
